1. INTRODUCTION
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Cardixx FlexKapG ("Cardixx", "we", "us", "our") uses them on the website www.cardixx.com (the "Website"), and how you can manage your cookie preferences. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process all personal data including data collected through cookies.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies serve various purposes including maintaining your login session, remembering your preferences, and measuring website usage. Cookies are commonly used across the internet and are a standard technology that enables websites to function properly and to understand user behavior.
2. TYPES OF COOKIES WE USE
2.1 Essential Cookies
Cardixx uses essential cookies that are necessary for the website to function properly and securely. These cookies do not require your consent under the GDPR because they are necessary for legitimate security and functionality interests. Essential cookies remain on your device for the duration of your browsing session or until they expire according to their programmed lifespan.
The session identifier cookie maintains your login session when you access a user account on the website. This cookie is stored on your device while you are actively using the website and is deleted when you close your browser or log out. Without this cookie, you would not be able to remain logged in as you navigate between pages.
The CSRF token cookie protects the website against cross-site request forgery attacks, which are a type of security vulnerability where unauthorized parties attempt to perform actions on your behalf without your knowledge. This security cookie is essential for protecting your account and data from unauthorized modifications.
The language preference cookie remembers which language you have selected for viewing the website. This cookie stores your language choice so that when you return to the website, it displays in your preferred language without requiring you to select it again.
The cookie consent status cookie tracks whether you have viewed and responded to our cookie consent banner. This cookie indicates that you have been informed of our cookie practices and stores your cookie preferences so we do not repeatedly display the consent banner on every page.
2.2 Optional Analytics Cookies
Cardixx may use optional analytics cookies to measure how visitors use the website, track which pages are most frequently accessed, record how long users spend on different pages, and understand visitor navigation patterns. These cookies enable us to generate anonymized statistics regarding website usage and to identify trends that help us improve the website design, functionality, and content.
Analytics cookies are only used when you affirmatively consent to their use through our cookie consent banner. You can enable or disable analytics cookies at any time through our cookie management interface.
Optional analytics cookies are typically retained for up to two years, after which they are automatically deleted. The specific analytics provider and retention periods are identified in the cookie table in Section 3 below.
2.3 No Advertising or Tracking Cookies
Cardixx does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any cookies that would enable third parties to profile you, track you across different websites, or build a detailed picture of your browsing behavior for marketing purposes. We do not use cookies to enable retargeting campaigns where advertisements would follow you across the internet. Cardixx respects user privacy and does not employ intrusive tracking practices.

4. HOW COOKIES ARE PROCESSED
When you visit our website, essential cookies are automatically placed on your device. These cookies do not require your consent because they are necessary for the website to function securely and properly. Our website will not ask for your consent before placing essential cookies.
When you first visit our website, a cookie consent banner is displayed at the bottom or top of the page informing you that we use cookies and providing information about how you can manage your preferences. This banner contains two primary options: you may accept all cookies, or you may click a preferences button to customize which types of cookies you allow.
If you click "Customize" or "Preferences," a detailed cookie management interface will appear. Through this interface, you can see which cookies are essential (required) and which are optional (requiring consent). You can toggle optional cookies on or off according to your preferences. Your preferences are saved in a consent preference cookie so that we remember your choices on future visits.
The legal basis for processing data through essential cookies is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, which permits processing necessary to pursue legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests include maintaining website functionality, protecting against security threats, and providing a usable experience. The legal basis for processing through optional cookies is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which requires your explicit consen
5. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES
Cardixx's website may use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics or similar privacy-focused analytics providers. These services place cookies on your device to measure website traffic and user behavior. The specific third-party provider used by Cardixx is identified in the cookie table above or in our cookie management interface.
Third-party analytics providers act as data processors on behalf of Cardixx and are contractually bound to process data only as instructed and to implement appropriate security measures. You should be aware that third-party providers may have their own privacy policies governing how they process data. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services used on our website.
You may opt out of analytics tracking by disabling analytics cookies through our cookie consent banner. Disabling analytics cookies does not prevent the website from functioning, and you will still be able to use all features of the website.
6. LOCAL STORAGE AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
In addition to cookies, the Cardixx website may use similar tracking technologies including local storage (also called web storage or local storage APIs) and application data caches to store information on your device. These technologies function similarly to cookies but may persist for longer periods or store larger amounts of data.
Local storage data stored by the website is typically used to cache website assets, store user preferences, and improve website performance. You can delete local storage data through your browser settings by clearing your browser cache and local storage.
The Cardixx mobile application may use local storage to store encrypted authentication credentials, user preferences, and cached application data on your device. This local data is not transmitted to Cardixx servers unless you explicitly choose to sync or backup your data.
7. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
7.1 Using Our Cookie Consent Banner
The easiest way to manage your cookie preferences is through our cookie consent banner, which is displayed when you first visit the website. 7.2 Using Your Browser Settings
You have the ability to manage cookies through your web browser settings. Most browsers allow you to see which cookies are stored on your device, to delete specific cookies, and to block new cookies from being stored. You can also set your browser to prompt you before accepting any cookies.
Please note that if you disable essential cookies through your browser settings, some website features may not function properly. 8. RETENTION OF COOKIE DATA
Essential cookies containing session data are automatically deleted when you close your browser or log out of your account. Some essential cookies such as language preference and consent status may be retained for up to one year to remember your preferences on future visits.
Optional analytics cookies are retained for up to two years by the analytics provider. After two years, analytics data is automatically deleted by the provider's systems.
You may manually delete all cookies stored on your device at any time through your browser settings. Deleting cookies will remove all stored data and will reset your website preferences.
9. COOKIES IN THE CARDIXX MOBILE APPLICATION
The Cardixx mobile application does not use cookies in the traditional sense, as cookies are designed for web browsers. However, the mobile application uses similar technologies including application data caches and local storage to store information on your device. This includes encrypted authentication tokens, user preferences, and cached application data.
This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to Cardixx servers unless you explicitly authorize syncing or backups. You can delete this local data through your device settings by uninstalling and reinstalling the application, or through any data clearing features provided by the application.
10. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature that sends a signal to websites indicating that you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, there is no universal standard for how websites should respond to Do Not Track signals. Cardixx recognizes Do Not Track signals and will respect your Do Not Track preference by disabling optional analytics cookies if your browser sends this signal.
11. LEGAL BASIS AND YOUR RIGHTS
The processing of data through essential cookies is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in website functionality and security). We have determined that our legitimate interests are not outweighed by your fundamental rights and freedoms because we only use essential cookies necessary for the website to function and to protect against security threats.
The processing of data through optional analytics cookies is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which requires your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time by disabling them through our cookie preferences interface. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before your withdrawal.
You have the right to request access to information about the cookies stored on your device, the right to request deletion of specific cookies, and the right to object to the use of cookies. You may exercise these rights by contacting us at info@cardixx.com.

We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, by displaying a notice on our website.
